An essential aspect in the cooperation of clinic and biometry consists in designing of studies, e.g. during the preparation of grant applications or for review by official drug surveillance institutions. A central aspect in study planning is the design-adequate and well-documented prediction of sample size, which should be recommended for any intended study. Based on several examples for sample size planning in study designs, which are of common relevance for ophthalmology, guidelines are derived to enable clinical researchers to perform sample size planning on their own. The latter can be based on the various available software packages for sample size prediction.

[EN] In this paper GoKoan is presented as an e-learning platform which supports in-person education in the university. In the present study, a total of 175 students on the "Psychology of Memory" course from the Psychology Degree of the Universitat de València participated, 88 of them were part of the control group and 87 of the experimental group. A partir de mi experiencia personal a lo largo de 30 años en edición digital de revistas y libros electrónicos; creación, preservación y gestión de bibliotecas y archivos digitales; investigación basada en ordenadores y aplicaciones informáticas para estudios literarios, lingüísticos, culturales e históricos; análisis de textos, corpus, marcación de corpus, bases de datos, etc., llego a la conclusión de que las Humanidades digitales han avanzado mediante el autoaprendizaje y también han sido posibles grandes proyectos a través del trabajo en equipo y la interdisciplinariedad, junto con el aprendizaje continuo.
